Basketball programs to hold free clinic
ALAMOSA, Colo.— The Adams State College men’s and women’s basketball programs have collaborated to put together a free coaches clinic on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 20-21. The clinic, which is free and open to coaches throughout the San Luis Valley, will be held in ASC’s Plachy Hall beginning at 3:30 p.m. on Friday and concluding at noon on Saturday.
The clinic will include 2-4 practice sessions. Coaches can choose between either the men’s or women’s team practices. There will also be 2-4 speaking sessions, featuring head men’s coach Larry Mortensen or head women’s coach Kelly Kruger. A social will also be held on Friday evening.
College credit will also be offered for the clinic. Those wishing to obtain such credit can sign up on Friday. There will be an extra fee for the credit.
