Third Year Head Coach Lindy Mortensen will return four starters, including honorable mention All-RMAC pick Darcy Jennings (Lakin, Kan.), from her 2006 squad. She also returns her starting libero in Jessie Pickens (Cortez, Colo.) and eight total letterwinners from that team, which will strengthend by the addition of seven new players and 2006 redshirt Andrea Tuck (Erie, Colo.), a former Division I player at the Division I Wyoming. Mortensen will also have a new assistant coach in Chelsea Harmon.

The Grizzlies will begin their pre-season in early August and take the floor for the first time on Thursday, Aug. 23, the first of three days in the Best Western Alamosa Inn/Grizzly Inn Volleyball Classic, the first early-season, non-conference tournament that ASC has hosted since 2000.
