RMAC Weekly Volleyball Release #8

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.— Click here to view the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference’s eighth weekly volleyball release of the 2007 season. Included in Monday’s release are results from last week's games, player of the week selections, team notes, conference schedules and a look at the national polls.
The Grizzlies, 8-11 overall and 4-7 in RMAC play, are currently tied with Western State and Colorado State-Pueblo for the eighth and final tournament qualification spot in the RMAC standings ASC defeated both teams earlier in the season but will face them again in the final two matches of the year.
Before that, the Grizzlies begin a 4-match road-swing starting Thursday night (7 p.m.) at Chadron State, which is just a half-game behind at 3-7 in RMAC play. The Grizzlies then travel to Nebraska-Kearney to face the Lopers, ranked 22nd in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association Poll, on Friday night at 7 p.m. (CDT).
