Grizzlies win fourth straight
Dirmeyer's career-high helps ASC to fifth win in six matches

ALAMOSA, Colo.— Junior Andrea Tuck (Erie, Colo.) recorded a 17-kill, 14-dig double-double while fellow outside hitter Sarah Dirmeyer (Albuquerque, N.M.) put down a career-high 16 kills as the Adams State College Grizzly volleyball team won for the fourth straight time, posting a 5-set victory over the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs Mountain Lions Friday night in Plachy Hall.
Junior middle hitter Darcy Jennings (Lakin, Kan.) also added 12 kills and six blocks while redshirt freshman setter Megan Hawkins (Elizabeth, Colo.) registered 40 assists and nine digs in her first career start as the Grizzlies dominated the second third sets after while overcoming a sluggish first-set start and a late fourth Mountain Lion charge to post the 19-25, 25-7, 25-15, 24-26, 15-11 triumph.
The Grizzlies, who have now won for the fifth time in six matches, are above .500 for the first time this season and stand 8-7 overall and more importantly 5-3 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
UCCS fell to 7-9 overall and to 2-5 in RMAC action.
