RMAC Volleyball Release #8

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.— Click here to view the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference’s eighth weekly volleyball release of the 2008 season. Include in Monday’s release are results from last week's matches, player of the week selections, conference schedules, news & notes from around the league and a look at the national polls.
The Adams State College Grizzlies, currently 9-9 overall and 6-5 in RMAC play, return home this week to conclude inter-divisional play with Thursday and Friday night match-ups against Nebraska-Kearney and Chadron State, respectively. Nebraska-Kearney will enter Thursday's match riding a 21-match winning streak. The Lopers, 21-1 overall and a perfect 10-0 in RMAC play, moved up to a tie for seventh in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association Top 25 poll.
Chadron State is heading in the opposite direction and has lost 17 of its last 18 matches while falling to 3-17 overall and to 1-9 in the RMAC.
