Grizzlies to hold open tryout on Jan. 24
ALAMOSA, Colo.— The Adams State College volleyball team will host an open try-out for interested high school seniors or junior college transfers on Saturday, Jan. 24 in Plachy Hall.
The day’s activities will begin at 1 p.m. with an optional campus tour. The free tryout will then follow from 2-4 p.m.

All players must have had an athletic physical in the six months prior to the tryout, must bring proof of that physical and proof of insurance to the tryout. All players under the age of 18 must also bring a signed parental permission release, which can be downloaded by clicking here.
Interested players should also fill out a player questionnaire on ASC’s official website at: http://ascgrizzlies.athleticsite.com/recruiting.asp and should be registered with the NCAA Clearinghouse.
Per NCAA regulations, students who are attending or have attended other 4-year institutions must have transfer releases on file prior to contact by the ASC staff.
The Grizzlies just completed their second straight winning season and advanced to the semifinals of the RMAC Tournament for the second straight year as well. The Grizzlies also crowned their first NCAA Division II All-American in junior outside hitter Andrea Tuck (Erie, Colo.).
