RMAC Volleyball Release #6

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.— Click here to view the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference’s sixth weekly volleyball release of the 2009 season. Include in Monday’s release are results from last week's matches, player of the week selections, conference schedules, news & notes from around the league and a look at the American Volleyball Coaches Association Top 25 poll.
The Adams State College Grizzlies (7-6, 4-2 RMAC) have a busy week ahead as they will play three road matches in four nights starting Tuesday at Wyoming (8-8) in what will be their first match against an NCAA Division I opponent in their NCAA Division II history that dates back to 1992.
The Grizzlies then resume RMAC play Thursday night at Chadron State (1-12, 1-5 RMAC) before facing Nebraska-Kearney (15-1, 6-0 RMAC), ranked eighth in the AVCA poll on Friday. The Lopers have won nine straight matches heading into a Thursday night affair with Colorado State-Pueblo.
All three matches begin at 7 p.m. local time, which for the Nebraska-Kearney match is 6 p.m. in the Mountain Time Zone.
