RMAC Volleyball Release #5

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.— Click here to view the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference’s fifth weekly volleyball release of the 2010 season. Include in Monday’s release are RMAC/Baden Player of the Week selections, conference standings, upcoming schedules, recent results, news and notes, and a look at the national and RMAC preseason polls.
The Adams State Grizzlies will make their first home appearance of the season on Friday, Oct. 1, when they host archrival Western State in Plachy Hall Gym at 7 p.m., and will remain at home for match with Colorado State-Pueblo at 7 p.m. Saturday. The Grizzlies are currently 4-9 overall this fall and 1-4 in RMAC play after defeating New Mexico Highlands last Friday night before falling at Western New Mexico on Saturday.
Western State starts this week with a 5-7 ovarall record but is 0-5 in RMAC play, and will face CSU-Pueblo on Tuesday before meeting the Grizzlies in Alamosa. CSU-Pueblo is 4-7 this season and is tied with ASC for fourth place in the RMAC West Division with a 1-4 league record.
