RMAC Volleyball Release #9

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—  Click here to view the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference’s ninth weekly volleyball release of the 2010 season. Include in Monday’s release are RMAC/Baden Player of the Week selections, conference standings, upcoming schedules, recent results, news and notes, and a look at the national and RMAC preseason polls.

With two weeks and four matches remainining in the regular season, the Adams State College Grizzlies (8-14, 5-9 RMAC) stand three matches behind a 3-way tie for sixth, seventh and eighth places in overall RMAC standings.  The Grizzlies will need to make up that ground in order qualify for the RMAC Tournament, which will be held Nov. 11-13 in Kearney, Neb., for the fourth straight year.

They will get a chance at doing some of that that this week, as they will play almost must-win matches at Colorado State-Pueblo (7-15, 2-12 RMAC) and Western State (9-12, 4-10 RMAC) on Thursday and Saturday nights at 7 o'clock, respectively.

Fans that can not attend in person can still see the matches live on a subscription basis through America One (formerly B2 Networks).  For more information about purchasing season-long or single-match passes, click here.

Thursday's match in Pueblo can also be heard live on KSPK-FM (104.1 in Alamosa) and via the internet at www.kspk.com.  Live statistics for that match can also be viewed by clicking here.
