RMAC Men's Basketball Release #12

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Click here the view the 12th Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference men’s basketball release of the 2010-11 season. Included in Monday's release are league standings, a list of last week’s results, a schedule of upcoming games, a look at the national polls as well as preseason conference awards and rankings.
The Adams State College Grizzlies went 1-1 last weekend falling 78-75 to Fort Lewis on Saturday night before responding to claim an 81-66 win over Johnson & Wales (Colo.) University in their final non-conference game of the season on Sunday evening.
The Grizzlies, now 14-4 overall, currently stand in fourth place in the RMAC standings with a 10-4 league mark, and play the two teams immediately behind them on the road this weekend.
On Friday, the Grizzlies will visit New Mexico Highlands (14-5, 10-5 RMAC). They then head further south to Western New Mexico and will play the Mustangs, currently 9-13 overall and 9-6 in RMAC action heading into a Friday night clash with Fort Lewis.
The Grizzlies defeated Western New Mexico at home on Jan. 7 by a 103-96 score and took out New Mexico Highlands a night later, 96-84.
Both games will tip-off at 8 p.m. following 6 p.m. women's clashes and can be heard live on KSPK-FM (104.1 in Alamosa) or via the internet at www.kspk.com.
