RMAC Volleyball Week 4 Release
Grizzlies to fae Mavericks, Skyhawks in RMAC divisional match-ups at Plachy

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Click here to view the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference’s (RMAC) fourth volleyball release of the 2011 season. Monday’s release, sent out by RMAC officials, contains league standings, RMAC/Baden Players of the Week, upcoming matches and prior results, new & notes from around the league and a look at national and regional polls.
ASC (7-4 overall, 1-2 RMAC) opened up its conference schedule last Thursday thru Saturday with a trio of home matches RMAC East Division opponents Colorado Christian, Colorado Mines and No. 5 Nebraska-Kearney. The Grizzles played five setters each of the first two nights, falling after going up by two sets against the Cougars, but recording a win after falling down by two against the Oredggers.
On Saturday the Grizzlies became the first team to take a set off the Lopers this season, winning the second in the four set setback.
This weekend the Grizzlies will be at home once again, facing fellow RMAC West Division teams for the first time this season. The weekend starts on Friday for ASC against Colorado Mesa (3-8, 0-3 RMAC) and will conclude against Fort Lewis (0-3, 3-8 RMAC) on Saturday. Both matches will get going at 7 p.m. in Plachy Hall.
