Valley Night set for Dec. 30 basketball doubleheader

ALAMOSA, Colo.— Adams State College athletic officials have announced that the women’s and men’s basketball doubleheader against the University of Nebraska-Kearney on Friday, December 30 has been designated as Valley Night.

As part of the promotion, admission to Plachy Hall is just $1 in appreciation of the San Luis Valley’s tremendous support of the Grizzlies.  The women’s game begins at 6 p.m. while the men’s clash will follow at 8 p.m. and is being sponsored by the Valley Courier.

Additionally, Grizzly officials are inviting all SLV high school basketball teams, bands and cheerleading/dance teams to attend for free via team roster that must be received by ASC Associate Athletic Director Chris Day by Friday, Dec. 15 at 5 p.m.  Attending bands and cheerleading/dance groups are also invited to perform throughout the doubleheader.  So that this can be coordinated, band and group directors or coaches are asked to contact Day, again by Dec. 15.
