ASC sets school-records on Day 2 of Grizzly Invite
ALAMOSA, Colo.— The Mesa State College Mavericks had four players fire scores in the 70’s as they posted a fine Wednesday team score of 303 while cruising to a 35-stroke win over Fort Hays State (Kan.) and the rest of the 6-team field at the Grizzly Invitational women’s golf tournament, played Tuesday and Wednesday here at Cattails Golf Course. Grizzlies fifth after first day of 2010-11
ALAMOSA, Colo.— Led by individual leader Jessica Berve and her round of 3-over par 74, the Mesa State College women’s golf team posted a fine team score of 316 to open an 11-shot lead over Fort Hays State through the first of two rounds at the Grizzly Invitational being hosted Tuesday and Wednesday by Adams State College here at Cattails Golf Course. Grizzlies hoping to make use of home course advantage in 2010-11 opener
ALAMOSA, Colo.— The Adams State College women’s golf team will begin the 2010-11 season with its only home tournament of the campaign at Cattails Golf Course. The Grizzlies, hoping for banner year, will welcome Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference rivals Colorado Christian, Colorado State-Pueblo, Mesa State and Regis and former RMAC member Fort Hays State for the 6-team, 36-hole tournament to be played Tuesday and Wednesday.
