Grizzlies Finish Season With 2-0 Shutout of CCU
ALAMOSA, Colo. – Having lost their previous 13 matches, the Adams State Men’s Soccer team was determined to change the trend in the final match of the 2012 season. And they did so on Sunday afternoon with a 2-0 shutout of the Cougars from Colorado Christian. Though the focus initially was set on senior Raul Sanchez (Alliance, Neb.) playing in his final match as a Grizzly, the scoring came from freshmen Aaron Fox (Albuquerque, N.M.) and Cody Weisenberger (Chandler, Ariz.). Grizzlies Shut Out by Top-ranked Regis, 3-0
ALAMOSA, Colo. – The Adams State University Men’s Soccer team was shut out 3-0 Friday to top-ranked Regis. Despite the shutout, junior Hawken Hanna (Haslett, Mich.) led the Grizzlies in shots on the day with two, with one on goal. Read the full story.
Grizzlies Shut Out 6-0 to Metro State
DENVER – The Adams State University Men’s Soccer team was shutout for the third consecutive match, and second-straight to Metro State, 6-0. The Roadrunners’ Danny Arrubla scored a hat trick in the match. Offensive opportunities for the Grizzlies were limited, though juniors Jake Hughes (Richmond, London, England) and Matthew Stefanko (Leavenowrth, Wash.) recorded the only shots for the Grizzlies.
