ALAMOSA, Colo.— The multiple-time defending NCAA Division II National Champion Adams State College Grizzly men’s and women’s cross country teams will begin their 2010 campaign at home this Saturday hosting the Joe I. Vigil Open at Cattails Golf Course. [+]

Grizzly women tabbed as unanimous No. 1 for fifth straight year
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.— For the fifth straight year, the Adams State College women’s cross country team was a unanimous choice to win the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference title come November. The Grizzlies also had a pair of selections to the Preseason All-RMAC team, including RMAC Preseason Runner of the Year Alicia Nelson (Craig, Colo.), announced Thursday by conference officials in conjunction with the league’s preseason coaches’ poll.
